The factory power steering hoses in hydroboost equipped 2001-2010 General Motors 2500/3500 DIESEL pickup trucks are notorious for leaks. Drawing on their experience with custom manufactured tubing and hose assemblies, Driven Diesel has produced a completely new set of replacement power steering hoses that addresses the problems with the OEM parts. Through rigorous testing, it was found that Stainless Steel Braid over Teflon hose generated an unacceptable level of in-cab noise...noise that is NOT a problem with the non-braided style of hydraulic hose that was chosen for the production assemblies.

The Driven Diesel Power Steering Hose assemblies are not only manufactured from superior materials, but have also been built to be easier to install and serviceable in the unlikely event of a leak. Unlike the factory design, the hydraulic hose is no longer permanently attached to the tubing sections, one of the major downfalls of the stock lines. Instead, the Driven Diesel tubing sections have been fitted with AN fittings, making the hydraulic hose portion of the line removable and replaceable. This aids installation by allowing the tubing sections to be installed independently of the hose...and allows replacement of the hydraulic hose without having to purchase the expensive tubing sections again.
