Upgrade your Factory LM2 & LZ0 Intake Air Control Valve
The 3.0L Duramax features a 2.09 inch inlet and has a throttle blade affixed to a blade retainer. This is the largest flow restriction point in the LM2 & LZ0 intake tract with every other point being larger than 2.09 inches. Our upgraded IAV Features a 2.26 inch inlet and no blade to restrict flow.
Removal of the throttle blade means removing the possibility of the 2 fastener screws from backing out and being consumed by the motor.
We also incorporated 1 NPT connection point for adding a mechanical boost gauge or water/meth or performing a simple boost leakdown on the system
Features:
- No throttle blade (race use only)
- 1 NPT connection for connecting Boost, Water/Methanol, Nitrous, or Boost leakdown equipment
- Back cut machined lip for maximum grip on heat exchanger boot
- Will work with factory or aftermarket Heat exchanger boots
Designed to be replaced in under 30 minutes for hassel free installation.
