The factory CP4 pump on the 6.7 Powerstroke has a reputation — and not a good one. The SPE Motorsport CP3 Conversion Kit was built from the ground up to eliminate those issues while keeping vital engine systems operational.
We reengineered the fuel system by moving the pump out of the valley and driving it via a proper ratio Pulley and serpentine belt. This improves access, and cuts install time. For decades there have been PTO pumps, compressors, and extra fuel pumps driven by serpentine belts on diesel engines; the 8 rib belts are easily up to the task. The testing has been done over decades and millions of miles. Proving the reliability of the serpentine drive system!
The real win: this is a 100% factory replacement system. No tuning is required. Thanks to the way we designed the drive system and fuel routing, everything works seamlessly with your stock calibration. No extra wiring or jumpers, and all of the factory fuel lines are retained! Just bolt it on, plug it in, and go.
Thanks to that optimized drive ratio, you can run a standard CP3 pump and still move the same volume as modified pumps that cost twice as much. That means more performance without breaking the bank.
Unlike other alternative pump options on the market, if you ever need a replacement, you can get a CP3 from virtually anywhere — dealerships, warehouse suppliers, or even local diesel shops. The kit comes exclusively with a brand new Exergy Performance CP3.
